Do you still get Nightmares?

do you still get nightmares?.

because last night i had the crap scared out of me.. i cant remember what i had been dreaming about, but something shocked me and i opened my eyes and i saw a figure standing beside my bed.. my body when straight into fight mode.. now this is the weirest part for me.i shouted at the top of my voice , very loudly "what the f**k" yet it wasn't me speaking , my body sort of took over and said it .my eyes sort of adjusted and the figure disappeared and a i think at that point i became wide awake.. my wife was woken up by my shouting.. my heart was racing and my hair standing on end.. i have had a similiar experience once before but i didn't shout.. the fact that i woke up shouting, really freaked me out.. what the crap was going on in my head?

Studying the "Revelation" book used to give my 5 year old daughter nightmares about wild beasts. We quit going to meetings 3 years ago.

Our nightmare has ended.

a new person with a familiar story.....

so...i have been involved with jws for 21 years, have a wonderful husband and 4 wonderful daughters( i am so lucky!!!

) and for a year or so have been steadily leaving the org.it didnt amswer my questions or satisfy my needs at first- but then i started to do my own searching and found out alot of things that were just wrong.

my oldest daughter decided to da herself and i knew that i would never turn my back on her.

Maybe it is not a spiritual void at all. You seem to be a very spiritual person without the help of the WT.

Do you find you have more time now? I went to my niece's school soccer game the other day, the best afternoon I've had in 20 years as a JW. I plan to do more of this.

I am having the time of my life filling this "time void" left by previous Watchtower obligations.

Chris, thank you! That is so faith building to see secular history confirming what the Bible has to say.
That is an excellent point you make about the UN. Jehovah can manuever matters to bring a seemingly impervious enemy to their knees!!

I heard that the Watchtower Society had joined the United Nations about 10 years ago as a NGO (Non Governmental Organization).
I could not understand why they would do this.

I went to the UN website to confirm this last November and sure enough the Watchtower Society was on their list.
They have just been removed from the list so I Guess everything is OK now.

We just have to wait on Jehovah.
